Vanessa Turner, C.Eng, MICE, Prince2
Vanessa Turner is the Principal Engineer at Entech Ltd. and has over 15 years’ experience in structural engineering and project management.
Ms. Turner graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering (Structural). Upon graduation, she commenced training within the Bermuda Government’s Ministry of Works and Engineering during which time she worked with the Highways Division, Water & Sewage Division and Structural Division. Ms. Turner obtained her MBA from the University of Liverpool and her Chartered Engineering Designation from the UK Engineering Council and Institute of Civil Engineers.
While working within the Bermuda Government, Ms. Turner’s engineering role focused on the design and management of public infrastructure. She managed multiple capital projects for the Government, performing feasibility studies, leading multidisciplinary teams of consultants and contractors, managing the tender process, drafting cabinet memorandum, managing contracts and providing construction administration services.
Due to the complement of technical and managerial expertise, Vanessa also served in the Bermuda Government’s Ministry of Finance, Office of Project Management and Procurement; and obtained her Prince2 project management certification.
With just over 10 years’ experience in the public sector, Ms. Tuner commenced working within the private sector and joined Entech Ltd. in 2013.
